Tekkaman Blade literally "Space Knight Tekkaman Blade" or Teknoman is an anime series, released in 1992 and 1995 in both Japanese and English language versions.

Uchu no Kishi Tekkaman Blade (Space Knight Tekkaman Blade) debuted on Japanese TV in 1992. It is a futuristic anime and has a sequel entitled Tekkaman Blade II. It was shown in the US in dubbed form (and incredibly cut) by Saban, but cancelled mid-way.

Bug-like aliens attack Earth in an attempt to make it a home for their alien biology.The Earth's defences include a space station that forms a continuous ring about the planet, and a process that turns the body of the hero, D-Boy, into a space-going battle robot. Most battles take place just outside the annular space station.
